The Vessel -

Gold-Rush is an Offshore 2000 designed and moulded to stage one by Power  Catamarans LTD Cornwall. Then taken to Mitchell Marine of Wadebridge to bring the mouldings up to stage two. We then had Gold-Rush transported to Suffolk Yacht Harbour where we could carry out all the completion work and install the engine. All stainless work was manufactured and fitted on site by Mark & Tim at Mr stainless SYH.

Gold-Rush weighs 5.5 ton and is approx 32ft in length, 11ft Beam and has a trihedral hull which gives incredible stability, even in the worst beam on seas making it a fantastic platform to fish from. The aft cock-pit fishing area is a one piece flush deck. There is dedicated seating for 12 people. She has two full length berths and an onboard toilet. There is a spirit stove in the galley area for preparing hot food and drinks. 

The Propolsion Unit -

Gold-Rush is powered by the latest in technology a commercially rated Volvo Penta D6 coupled to a DPH duo prop out-drive with counter rotating propellers. It is computerised and flyby wire. Gold-Rush can cruise between 15-30 knots with a top speed of 35.7 knots at 3,600 revs. With this installation you benifit a very smooth, quiet ride. This vessel does not suffer with any exhust sounds or fumes associated with most traditional style boats. 

Gold-Rush is certified Cat 2 60 mile C.O.P. She has the following safety equipment-
